Copper smelter "Głogów"

KGHM Polska Miedź S.A is a world leader in copper production. Annually, the KGHM Group produces approximately 700 thousand tons of electrochemically refined copper. One of the KGHM branches is Huta Miedzi Głogów (HMG) – Copper Smelter Głogów. This plant is composed of two technological lines – HM Głogów I and HM Głogów II. We have realized the following projects:

 

Year 2017

  1. Documentation and intelligent power supply and control systems for devices in the project “Installation for Calcining of Concentrates Cu in HMG I”.

    • Energy projects of five intelligent low voltage switchgears

    • Control systems for over 130 technological outlets

    • Operating software for 7 PLCs

    • Preparation of visualization systems for 4 operating panels

    • Operating software for over 150 units of Simocode ProV

 

Year 2013 – 2016

  1. Documentation and intelligent power supply and control system for devices in the project “Modernization of Pyrometallurgy in the Copper smelter “Głogów”.

  • Energy projects of over 70 intelligent low voltage switchgears

  • Control systems for over 1500 technological outlets

  • Operating software for 120 PLCs

  • Preparation of visualization systems for over 60 operating panels

  • Operating software for over 2000 units of Simocode pro

 

Year 2013

  1. Documentation and intelligent power supply and control system for devices in the project “Replacement of power supply for a P-23 Electric Furnace” within the scope of electric contactor boards.

  • Energy projects of over 12 intelligent low voltage switchgears

  • Control systems for over 600 technological outlets

  • Operating software for over 10 PLCs

  • Preparation of visualization systems for over 10 operating panels

  • Operating software for over 700 units of Simocode pro

 

Year 2012

  1. Documentation and intelligent power supply and control system for devices in the project “Modernization of the slime filtration station in the E-4 object.”

  2. Electric project and intelligent power supply and control system for devices in the project “Replacement of Section I and II of the switchgear 500V OST-22/6 in the P-24 department of Copper smelter Głogów II”.
